This Privacy Policy explains how Edhar Toomik, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia ("we", "us", or "our") processes information when you use VideoPuzzles: Jigsaw Game (the "App"), visit our related website, or contact our support service.

This Privacy Policy currently applies to the iOS version of the App. If we publish an Android version through a different legal entity, we will publish an updated policy before that version becomes available.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • the iOS version of VideoPuzzles: Jigsaw Game;
  • the website at tolastapps.com insofar as it relates to VideoPuzzles;
  • communications you send to our support email address.

VideoPuzzles: Jigsaw Game is a video puzzle game. The current version does not require users to create an account, provide a name or email address, upload content, or create a public profile in order to play.

3. Information We Process

3.1 Pseudonymous and technical identifiers

The App may generate or process technical identifiers that help us operate, secure, analyse, and improve the App. These may include:

  • a locally generated guest identifier;
  • RevenueCat App User ID;
  • AppsFlyer ID;
  • device and installation identifiers;
  • IDFV;
  • the iOS advertising identifier ("IDFA"), but only where you allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission;
  • IP address or network-related information received by our service providers.

These identifiers are not intended to identify you by your name or contact details. However, applicable privacy laws may still treat some of them as personal data.

3.2 Gameplay, usage, and product-interaction data

We may process information about how you use the App, including:

  • app launches and sessions;
  • onboarding choices and preferences;
  • puzzle starts, completions, moves, scores, stars, points, and gameplay-limit events;
  • screens viewed and interactions with subscription offers or the paywall;
  • language, theme, music, and other App settings;
  • in-app rating responses;
  • events related to purchase, restore, renewal, expiration, or cancellation status.

Most gameplay progress and settings are stored locally on your device. Selected gameplay and product-interaction events may be sent to analytics providers so that we can understand App usage and improve the product.

3.3 Subscription and purchase information

If you purchase Premium, Apple processes the payment through the App Store.

We do not receive or store your payment card number, Apple Account password, or other payment credentials.

We may receive or process subscription-related information, including:

  • subscription product and plan;
  • Premium entitlement status;
  • purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, and restoration status;
  • a technical identifier associated with your subscription.

3.4 Technical and diagnostic data

We may process technical and diagnostic information, including:

  • device model and operating system;
  • App version;
  • language and technical settings;
  • crash reports;
  • error messages;
  • diagnostic information related to App stability and security.

We use this information to investigate crashes, bugs, security issues, and other technical problems.

3.5 Advertising attribution and App Tracking Transparency

The App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework ("ATT") in connection with advertising attribution and campaign measurement.

Before accessing your device's advertising identifier ("IDFA") for tracking or advertising measurement, the App requests permission through Apple's system ATT prompt.

If you allow tracking, we and our attribution provider, AppsFlyer, may process identifiers, installation information, campaign information, IP address, and selected App events to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and understand how users discover the App.

We may use AppsFlyer in connection with advertising platforms and partners, including:

  • Google Ads;
  • Apple Search Ads;
  • Meta;
  • Unity Ads;
  • AppLovin.

These platforms and partners may promote the App outside the App.

The App does not currently display third-party advertisements inside the App.

If you do not allow tracking, we do not access or use your IDFA for tracking. Your choice does not affect your ability to use the App, play puzzles, restore purchases, or access Premium.

Apple and participating advertising networks may still provide aggregated, privacy-preserving campaign attribution through Apple's SKAdNetwork framework. This is designed to help measure campaign performance without making the IDFA available to us.

3.6 Sharing previews

The App may allow you to share a puzzle result, text, App Store link, or preview through the iOS system sharing interface.

The App does not browse, read, upload, or collect the existing photos and videos stored in your device library.

If you choose a sharing option that saves an App-generated puzzle preview to your photo library, that action is initiated by you through the iOS sharing interface.

3.7 Support communications

If you contact us by email, we may process:

  • your email address;
  • the content of your message;
  • attachments you choose to provide;
  • technical information you include in your request;
  • information reasonably needed to respond to or resolve the request.

4. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

At the date of this Privacy Policy, the App does not intentionally collect:

  • your name;
  • email address through the App;
  • phone number;
  • precise or approximate location;
  • contacts;
  • photos or videos from your device;
  • camera data;
  • microphone recordings;
  • health information;
  • payment card details;
  • push notification tokens.

5. Why We Process Information

We process information to:

  • provide and operate the App;
  • store local gameplay progress and preferences;
  • provide Premium access and restore purchases;
  • understand how users interact with App features;
  • improve gameplay, usability, and App performance;
  • measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns where permitted;
  • receive privacy-preserving campaign attribution through SKAdNetwork;
  • diagnose crashes, errors, fraud, security issues, and technical problems;
  • respond to support requests;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the App, Premium access, and purchase restoration;
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, maintain, analyse, and improve the App;
  • Consent — where consent is required by applicable law, including ATT permission for IDFA-based tracking on iOS;
  • Legal obligations — to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.

6. Service Providers and Partners

We use third-party service providers and partners that help us operate the App.

Depending on your use of the App and your privacy choices, these providers may process pseudonymous identifiers, subscription data, App events, diagnostics, and attribution data.

Current providers and partners include:

We do not sell personal information for money.

However, when you allow ATT, certain identifiers and App events may be shared with attribution and advertising partners for campaign measurement. Depending on applicable law, this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the relevant service provider's configuration, our operational needs, security requirements, legal obligations, and the time needed to resolve disputes or support requests.

In general:

  • local gameplay progress and preferences remain on your device until you reset the App, delete local data, or uninstall it;
  • support communications may be retained for up to 24 months after the request is resolved;
  • technical logs and security-related records may be retained for a limited period necessary to operate and secure the App;
  • subscription-related records may be retained for as long as necessary to provide Premium access, resolve purchase issues, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations;
  • analytics, attribution, and diagnostic records are retained according to the active retention settings of the relevant service provider and our operational requirements.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for longer periods where it no longer reasonably identifies you.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of your personal data. You may also have a right to data portability.

Because the App currently uses pseudonymous identifiers rather than registered accounts, we may ask for information reasonably necessary to locate the relevant records, such as:

  • your in-app Privacy ID, if displayed in the App;
  • device details;
  • approximate dates of use;
  • subscription or purchase information;
  • other information needed to verify and process your request.

You may reset local game data through the App. Resetting local data does not cancel an active App Store subscription and may not immediately delete analytics, diagnostic, attribution, or purchase records previously sent to service providers.

To cancel a subscription, use your Apple Account subscription settings.

You can change ATT permission at any time in:

iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Video Puzzles

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar rights, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. International Data Transfers

We operate from Georgia and use service providers that may process information in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and countries where our providers maintain infrastructure.

Where required by applicable law, we take steps intended to ensure that international transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

However, no system or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected]. We will take reasonable steps to review and delete the information where appropriate.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, App features, service providers, or legal obligations change.

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice in the App or on our website where appropriate.
